February 19, 2020 — The year 2019 was another milestone period for AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) as it achieved its vision to jumpstart development in more non-urban areas.
ALLHC continues to reinforce its foothold in South Luzon with its industrial projects in Laguna and Cavite. Laguna Technopark is continuously generating unmatched export revenues among various economic zones, and has over 100,000 jobs generated throughout the property. Cavite Technopark, which caters to light and medium, non-polluting enterprises, will generate over 20,000 jobs at full development. “Our growth is concurrent with the creation of employment opportunities within our developments. With the addition of new industrial estates in key areas across the country, ALLHC continues to solidify its vision of energizing and supporting communities as the company works in creating value through economic activities,” said Maria Rowena M. Tomeldan, ALLHC President. Financial and Operating Results In 2019, ALLHC grew geographically with key assets added, namely Laguindingan Technopark (105 hectares) and Pampanga Technopark (192 hectares). Growth in warehouse gross leasable area (GLA) is attributable to openings of standard factory buildings in Laguna and Alviera, which gave an additional 33,000 sqm GLA. ALLHC’s net income grew by 15% to P641 million while revenues reached P5.3 billion versus the previous year. The growth is driven by strong performances in the sale of industrial lots, warehouse and commercial leasing operations. Industrial lot sales revenues reached P1.8 billion versus P786 million in 2018 or 130% growth. Meanwhile, leasing revenues from warehouses registered a 78% growth at P285 million, while commercial leasing revenues rose by 24% to P849 million. The company ended the year with 170,000 sqm warehouse GLA and 84,000 sqm commercial GLA. Community Advocacy In addition to its thrust for countryside development, ALLHC has also embarked in various community projects in 2019. The group established the Naic Municipal e-Library in cooperation with the Naic local government. Tutuban Center also converted its former activity center into an indoor basketball court, becoming a compelling neighborhood sports hub. Other initiatives such as regular medical missions and clean-up drives were undertaken by the group. ALLHC is a subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc., the country’s largest developer of sustainable estates offering a diverse mix of properties such as residential, commercial, and leisure developments, that support local economic growth and nation-building. AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation (ALLHC) expands its Standard Factory Building facilities in Alviera Industrial Park in the municipality of Porac, Pampanga. This new phase of ALLHC’s facilities will be occupied by China-based engineered stone manufacturer, Badan Building Materials Corporation. At full development, the latest expansion will provide Badan an additional 12,000 sqm to its already existing 19,000 sqm production facility.
“AyalaLand Logistics Holdings stays true to its vision of transforming places into dynamic centers across the country, developing world-class industrial parks and logistics facilities that are hubs of convergence and business activity,” said Maria Rowena M. Tomeldan, ALLHC President. Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Charito Plaza, in a message shared at the ground-breaking for the SFB expansion, notes the invaluable partnership and expertise offered by ALLHC in promoting the industry, particularly in support of MSMEs that are vital to sustaining the long-term growth of the country. ALLHC also operates logistics facilities, Lepanto Industrial Complex in Calamba and Tutuban Logistics in Manila. (ALLHC), a unit of property developer Ayala Land Inc., on Monday said it bought a smaller company named Unity Realty and Development Corp. that has tracts of land in Pampanga. “The transaction further strengthens the vision of ALLHC to be the leading real-estate logistics and industrial-estate developer in the Philippines,” it said in its disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
